Great Advert for Leeds

League One Leeds United

Great performance from our boys, and great to see people coming on our boards and congratulating our team for what they have done. Good to read these articles instead of the wumming we get sometimes on here (and from our own fans)

The fans at the ground did us proud too. Singing their hearts out throughout the game.

Our team just keeps on fighting (on 3 fronts), and lets hope they use this now to push on with the league performances.

Unfortunately that's been the story for quite a few spurs games this season, they just can't seem to stick it in the net. I think another good game on the 3rd Feb when hopefully we can not only play but also score.

Rapsib,
You talk a lot of nonsense. You wouldn't of noticed but Leeds have just had 2 consecutive defeats in matches where they've not played particularly well. On saturday they gave a top 4 prem team a serious run for their money (and not for the first time this season) - hence the confidence boost.
Sure Spurs dominated the first 20 mins, but after riding that storm it was pretty even. Beckford & Snodgrass both had good chances, which Gomes did well to keep out. At the end of the day, Spurs weren't good enough to beat us. And neither will they at Elland Road - so chew on that thought as you bask in the glow of imagined "superiority"

You gave no one a serious run for their money, you were played off the park. Ooh Beckford and Snotgrass had a chance wow well done lads. Spurs were far superior in every way and will show that again at Helen Road. See you there girls!!

A Premier League Club that isn't superior to us doesn't deserve to be a Premier League Club!.<yikes>

Doctorofstyle- If I was Capello I'd rather have Beckford on the England bench than powder puff Michael Owen, unlike all the 'experts' inexplicably clamouring for his inclusion in the squad!

There are a lot of teams , including Premier teams, who could use Beckford. He seems to have a knack for scoring goals, for being at the right place at the right time.

Remember you football purests, sloppy goals count the same as those lovely 30 yard "high-lite" specials!
