Sheffield Wednesday fan here! Brian Laws is a great guy but if he was to become your new manager, my money will be on your lot to go down. His time with us was so inconsistent. All too often the team would go on a crazy long winless streaks and I cant help but feel he would be well out of his depth in the prem. He did do a great job at Scunny but that took all of 10 years. As much as I like the guy he has definitely left us in a worse state than when he first came. I think out off the two you would be better off with O'Driscol. Many Wednesday fans were calling for him to be our new manager when Laws left. I think either one is not manager for you though. This may sound crazy but how about Megson? It would be a huge gamble with either Laws or O'Driscol. Although O'Driscol would be the better out of the two. Good luck Staying in the Prem guys. I really hope you get some luck with your new manager
He's right you know. The Burnley fans might not like it but Bolton did play above board.
girlpower of course your style of play will change Billy would go to Burnley so where your goals going to come from?. There is not a manger out there who plays like O'Driscoll apart form maybe Martinez. I think you will struggle without him.
If you are looking at any Champoinship managers is should be none other than Nigel Pearson.
Well we did ok before SoD came and will do if he goes, by the way we didn't have Billy last season when we beat you at yours and finished 14th.
We drew 0-0 at Burnley on a cold November afternoon. I stayed in the Sparrowhawk Hotel that night as my mates from the Isle of Man who are avid Clarets were over for the match. We won 2-1 at the Keepmoat just after Christmas.
I'm more curious about how Coyle will be received when he brings his new team to TM ... a rapturous ovation seems out, booing seems churlish - how about a wall of silence for 90 minutes?
I'd imagine a confused combination of standing applause and vitriolic jeers.
Buymeespresso. Bolton played at Burnley last month...one way or another we won't be back at TM for many years to come
