is this the guy rednapp called 'insomnia'?--------Kinnear called him Insomnia. N'Zogbia then went on to say it was the "worst insult he had ever taken" and used that to leave Newcastle.

Newcastle fan in peace.personally i would stay well away. there is no doubting the guys talent - very good prem player but not world class and although age is on his side i doubt he ever will be.gullit, dalglish and shearer were never in charge when he was with us. but he left for wigan in january, and was going on about how good it was at wigan etc then 11 months later a few bad results and he wants out. so there is defintely an issue about his attitude. you could argue he needs to find the right manager/club etc but with ur HK guys millions i think there are better realistic options for the blues.
N'zogbia is quality. Well, worth a punt. If he played up front with Jerome and Benitez would be a nightmare for opposition defences. Wouldnt cost that much compared to other similar players around. If he threw a tantrum, I'm sure the likes of Johnson or Bowyer would soon sort him out anyway. Wish we could get Scharner as well.
I don't want players like that at St Andrews. I want hungry young players who will wear the shirt with pride and will fight and fight for that shirt and their place. N'Zogbia isn't one of those players. "The Frenchman (N'Zogbia) is growing increasingly frustrated at the Latics' lack of consistency this season and feels the time may be right to move on" Is that really the type of player you want down the Blues? If things are going really bad, he doesn't take responsibility and wants a move as quick as possible. N'Zogbia, people like you won't be welcome at Blues. You will be out quicker then you can say Birmingham
Charles N'Zogbia is a really good footballer. Not only can the player play on the wing but also can fill in at our left back problemo situation. I think he would be the type of player we need to look at instead of benni mccarthy.
"I think he would be the type of player we need to look at instead of benni mccarthy" No doubting his skills and techniques and his ability. Its his attitude that i would be worried about. If Blues slump next year and are battling relegation, will he want to stay? No he wouldn't. He left Newcastle last Jan, as NUFC were in the bottom 6 and now he wants a move away from Wigan. Like i have said, i want loyal players not dis-loyal, we struggled for a while to get rid of the big time charlies like Melchiot and Gronkjaer and i don't want that mentality back at Blues.
"i want loyal players not dis-loyal, we struggled for a while to get rid of the big time charlies like Melchiot and Gronkjaer and i don't want that mentality back at Blues"Fair comment. But melchiot was a really good player who did give his all. I think the way mcleish deals with players and goes about his transfer business is really good. He may well get the best out of him. Remember N'zogbia has come out apparntly and said he wants to join us; I cant remember he coming out saying he wants to join wigan. It was not long ago he was linked with arsenal.
In his first season, Melchiot was a hard working player. The second season he was dreadful, and when we got relegated at Newcastle he ran straight down the tunnel and didn't even care. I lost total respect for him. True what you said about McLeish, but to me N'Zogbia seems to be a right self centered player, all for himself. If he came to Blues, played well and IF we were struggling, he came out and said he wants to stay, then i take my comments back. But at this present moment in time, i don't want him
Well, at the end of the day, N'Zogbia is French so being opinionated and temperamental comes with the territory. I agree we cant afford to have too many prima-donas cause it will unsettle our team spirit. But I think for somebody of his talent he is worth the risk.
