*No i'm not defending Megson- i'm defending my club*

Game of two halves today. First half we played quite well and deserved our lead. 2nd half was nowhere near good enough and we got smashed. In the end we ended up with a point against a team who have beaten United and taken points from Villa and Arsenal this season.

Judging from some of the mass outcry on the other boards you'd think we'd drawn with Lincoln not Burnley- although i reckon half of that was a chain reaction from sheeps after one guy one the wind up.

I understand Megson is not liked by anyone-including me- but turning everytime we concede a goal is embarrassing. A few deluded fans generally think we should beat everyone and the rest seem to be doing it to de-stabalize the club to get rid of Megson.

Regardless of your personal feelings, Bolton Wanderers are more important than Megson.

Would have liked the win, happy enough to take a point as long as we take 3pts from Hull. I'd have taken 8pts and undefeated in 4 games before the City game.

COYWM heads up. 3pts and a clean sheet before the turn of the year.

When will Megson learn? In a game that was there for the taking he reverts to his "Fear football" and replaces one of our strikers with a midfielder to play his favoured 4-5-1, To try to save the point with over a quarter of the game left to play. In doing so invites even more pressure onto a dodgy defence and lets be honest left us hanging on for a point.

He is a terrible manager, a half decent manager, with those players at his disposal, would have us sat comfortably in mid table, not scrambling around for points to try to drag oursoulves out of the bottom three.

Anyone who wants Bolton to lose isn't a Bolton fan.

Burnley certainly were'nt there for the taking, i don't know were go got that from. we had to change ,we were being over-run, they have one of the best home records in the division and a point is a decent result. knight truly is awful and must be replaced

I would have booed in the 2nd half. Someone should lock Megson out of that half time dressing room.

We certainly weren't on top through the first half. I thought that Burnley were a decent side, and for me coming away with a draw was a decent result. It's the way that we get the draw that is the problem

Megson once again took off Klasnic and brought on a midfielder leaving Davies (kev) isolated up front. What is he supposed to do with no help? And when Zat Knight performs as he did today it is very easy to see why we can't keep a clean sheet. Credit to Burnley-a good point for us but we might try holding on to a lead one day...who knows

It just shows how badly things have deteriorated under GM, when some fans are doin' cartwheels because we got a point at Burnley doh

Look at the league table, before you wet yourself with excitement ..... Not many teams stay up if they're in the bottom 3 at this time of the year .. and neither will we ..

We're where we are on merit (or demerit, if you like ...)

First of the Gang, I don't know if you know but Burnley have lost 1 out of 10 home games in the league.

A point is satisfactory, it's results in games like that which will get them relegated and keep us in the league.

A win against Hull along with a few results going our way will see us looking pretty just below mid-table.

Anything other than a win against Hull, should see the end of Megson. From my point of view though the three points from this game are more important that getting rid of that clown. Pity we can't do what Citeh did, win the game and still sack him.

That'd be clever and great for team morale wouldn't it fourstripe? Risk upsetting our best players and see them wanting a move away. As we've seen as Man City players don't take too kindly to the shabby treatment of their manager. Thankfully I think Phil Gartside and Eddie Davies are a cut above the Middle Eastern owners and wouldn't do that.
