Commentator BIAS, 1-1 not good enough

Yeah it wasn't a penalty, but I wish the commentators would stop going on about the supposed injustice of it when there was a clear penalty handball in the first half for Chelsea which the ref missed.

Other than that, we lacked urgency. 10 mins to go, half the West Ham team stranded in our penalty area, Ashley Cole has the ball at left back, but strolls forward giving them time to get back and defend. AGAIN.

So we pulled 1 point clear of United, but Arsenal pulled 2 points closer to us. Simply not good enough.

Erm, I think it is, because you're saying have had 3 and the only one that could have been given was the Gabbidon handball, but if you're going down that road Terry also handballed.

We had two stonewall penalties, one was given and one wasn't.

Our fans can complain because it wasn't a penalty, simple as that. And I've yet to come across anyone who hasn't agreed with Carvalho's attempt to play the ball...NOT.

Annoys me when the so called experts said we were back on track after beating Pompey.

We failed to make hay whilst Man U had a bad patch last season and it came back to haunt us.

There could have been no complaints if West Ham had won. Too complacent in midfield, not enough urgency. Does not help when your tactics require you to play the ball through the eye of a needle each time.

We cannot keep relying on other teams to roll over or miss opportunities for us to get points. Neither can we keep relying on our main rivals to keep dropping points.

Must do better and have shown that we can.

Erm, no it isn't.

If the Carvalho one shouldve been given, so should the one on Kalou by Green.

As should the handball by Gabbidon if Terry handballed as well.

And let's not forget Faubert's friendly little hug.

So you can have no complaints whatsoever.

Erm, yes it really is.

Faubert's little hug? Do me a favour you really are clutching at straws. I don't see anyone talking about that.

Bottom line is it wasn't a penalty, and that got you back into the game that you were losing, so I think you'll find there'll be a lot of complaints. If you think it was a penalty, and it was made fair because it weighed out all of these other minor incidents, then good luck to you.

Erm, no it undeniably isnt.

How the hell am I clutching? If you didn't see him holding onto Kalou then you sir are either blind or in denial.

It wasn't a penalty, I can admit that. But the fact that 2/3 should have been given and weren't means that it would behove you not to complain - it's called karma buddy.

Arsenal are no threat watsoever they were lucky yestoday at 1-0 if Geovanni tucked the pen away it would have been a diffrent game and i reckon Hull would have held on for the point.

They crumble away from home especially on small pitches (ie Burnley you shouldont be throwing leads away up there)

Can you see Chelsea or Man u going to Stoke or Bolton or somewwhere phisical on a winter night and grinding out a win? YES

Can you see Arsenal doing it? NO

The title is between CHELSEA AND MAN UTD and will be for a very long time no one looks like consitantly challenging us (and yes city fans this goes for you 2).

Bollo,
those who are saying.. goal scored with defenders encroaching..it stands, along with those saying attackers encroaching whilst goal scored, it needs to be retaken to deter the attackers.
The ref can order it be retaken in any scenario, not what Sky and Andy Gray say, what Dean should have done is card the dfenders and attackers for the offence, if he was "Claiming" to follow the letter of the law.
Methinks, by the way he (dean) kept tapping hs ear-piece that the fourth official had had a word inbetween times along the lines of "it doesn`t look a penalty to Keys and Co in the studio" and was praying that Green would get a save on it, look how close he got to the second one in the Lampard hat-trick!

WestHam United vs Chelsea. I feel so bad for a serious gutted by the Chelsea squared against Westham Utd. There is weak midfield which consequently gave more pressure on chelsea's defenders.

Meanwhile, I'll never forget to comment on J.Cole's poor performance which I knew is obvious to Ancelloti but refused to remove him until late hour. Therefore, I think Chelsea player need to be caution for consistency. They've loosing this Title ever since the Special One left.

Chelsea's Manager should use this match to ammend the movement towards the securing of the Barclay's Premiership Title and the Champions League Title.

Erm, I think it is. Let's agree to disgree.

I saw him, but it wasn't a penalty. Like I said, if you're going to give those then it would've been 6-6 because there was plenty going on in your box too. Carvalho should've walked for that tackle on Franco as well. We could be here all year.

That's not karma at all. You were given a blatent non penalty that got you into a game when you were being beaten 1-0 by the marginally better side.

Karma would be us coming to Stamford Bridge, Carvalho nicking the ball but bringing down Franco with his trailing leg in the box and then us getting a penalty that got us back in the game and getting a point or all 3. Although we wouldn't have scored the retaken ones i'm sure :o)

Can you imagine if we did? There'd be an uproar and we'd still be on the back pages now, there'd probably be an inquest as well, with everyone calling for the ref's head.

Perk of being top of the table I guess.

Good luck for the rest of the season.
