Waste of time

Premier League Everton

We might as well have lost to Chelsea and Tottenham and then beaten Birmingham. What a waste of effort, why cant the team find the net? draws at home to stoke, wolves and birmingham is pathetic. The defence situation needs to be resolved and very quickly, sounds like going forward we were fine today. Fed up of constant bad results though, our last win was away to west ham and that wasnt exactly a good victory, it was lucky. This was our chance to kick start our season but now that chance is gone and at best we can hope for something pathetic like eighth which doesnt do you much better than finishing 17th.

why aren't you happy? you got a well earnt point against a higher league team. you also extended your gap from the relegation zone to 2 points. it isnt teams like brum you need to beat to avoid relegation its the hull's burnley's and wolves.

i would say it was a good reult for everton prob could of won but bigger teams like birmingham tend to grind out results against small teams when they dont play well.

This post was a bit too negative. Not losing in 3 games, even when we should / could have won 1 or 2 of them is far better for you confidence. To stop losing and give performances that will encourage the players and (some of) the fans is far better than 2 defeats and a draw. We're in the last 32 of the Europa league, FA cup to come and with everybody beating everybody else in the PL this season we're still not toally adrift despite never having anything like our first choice 11 (let alone 18). The kids are getting a good education and when, not if, when we return to the solid defensive unit of the past 3 seasons we'll fly up the league. Also as much as it was annoying not being able to turn our constant attacks into more goals we should have been 2 goals up but for a poor decision.

I'd rather we won but an unbeaten sequence is good for confisence and the sooner Jags and Neville come back to help get us clean sheet or two the better.

Your problem pal is that you thought beating Birmingham was just a matter of turning up. From a Birmingham fan's point of view it is viewed as 2 points lost against a team much lower down the league.

Did people watch a different game to me?
Some excellent attacking football, a wrongly disallowed goal, a definite pen and great possession against an in form side. Fellaini is playing in his best position and playing well, we're getting our injured players back too.

....and we're not taliban loving villa.

I love how Birmingham are suddenly a bigger team.

As for our kopite friend. I'm sure the case will remain the same for you when you play the bigger teams like Brum , villa , spurs and city etc

no offence birmingham fans but look at hull last year who is to say you won't end up like that eh? you were lucky and it was our own fault for not finishing you off...there was no disrespect meant to brum fans here but you are asking for it with the disrespectful comments towards everton...bet you have the same type of idiotic fans hull did saying you will be in europe next year..
