Fantastic news for the club, he is here until June 2011. By far one of the best players so far this season, with his quick touches and creativity. There's no coincidence that when Giggs plays United are at their best.
Thoughts?

Great to see Giggs staying on for another year. He’ll finish when he can no longer compete at the highest level I reckon and from his form that could be a few more years down the line yet!

True professional.

Ryan Giggs has put in some excellent performances this season - congratulations to Oliver Mills who has managed to point to Giggs's selection and United's defeats to Liverpool, Burnley and Villa!

Mills - leave it out. how can you possibly say that Giggs is our worst player. Seriously - do you actually watch football. Our play isn't slower when Giggs plays - it is slower now full stop. Giggs isn't as good as he used to be? Of course he isn't - what a stupid comment to make!!!!! Whilst your at it - Pele and Maradona aren't a patch on what they used to be either.

Fool - I have just wasted 2 minutes of my life typing this!

Does anyone else wonder why the BBC keeps saying Giggs made his debut in 1992? I remember a debut goal in 1991...

Great news, my only fear is that he has to go eventually

I bet Ronaldo isn't anywhere near this good at 36

it is true nobody will be as good as giggs is now when they are 36. him and maldini are the only greats to ever be brilliant at 36.

maybe only kai wayne will be better LOL

I'll tell you something - Fernando Torres is an exceptional player.

Imagine how many goals he would score if he played for a top 4 club.
