According to the breaking news on the BBC website - England are amongst the seeds for the world cup draw with France losing out. This is the 2nd world cup in row England are seeded and is the result of getting 1/4 finals in 02 and 06 plus Capello's impact as manager since missing out on the Euros.

I forgot that you trounced Ireland 3-0. Maybe I would prefer to avoid you.

Not becuase I don't think that we are capable of beating you but because in the event that we lost to you the Aussies would, quite rightly, never ever let us forget it!

Didn't know about the practise draws. It can't happen in the real draw......can it? <yikes>

I dare not speculate ... lightning has already struck 3 times today, why not a 4th.

To the poster whonasked about putting a score on England to win the World Cup the latest pre draw price is 6/1.

Not exactly generous!

If you placed the same bet outside of England you'd likley get double that.

Laughable "moderation" from someone at the BBC just now.

How can one person be allowed to indulge in carte blanche xenophobia (isn't racism illegal in the UK???) and petty insult hurling yet I have a reply removed for stating that instead of reply in a mature manner they chose to act like an idiot?

Go on Avellino, cry to the moderators about this post too. We all now know you that can't actually conduct a discussion based on knowledge and maturity. To think that this neophyte has the ordacity to call others pathetic then whine like a spanked infant when called on the way he is acting....oh the irony.

Apologies Spiritualeedsed, it seems my part of our friendly discussion was "moderated". I must admit that I got a great laugh from the way Avellino kissed up to you despite your post completely contradicting the argument he was trying to carry on.

Read it while you can folks, this post surely isn't racist and derogatory enough to be left standing...

The one obvious problem with Huckerby's prediction is that if England and Brazil with their groups, they would meet in the semi-final if they kept winning. I haven't bothered looking for others.

the one obvious problem with Huckerby is that he's mental!
