Live - Sunday football

comment on the article

A word of warning folks. If you're after a nice quiet Sunday, I suggest you go elsewhere. This is going to be a bit special.

THREE Premier League derbies...Wolves v Birmingham (1200 GMT), Everton v Liverpool (1330) and Arsenal v Chelsea (1600), followed by El Clasico - Barcelona v Real Madrid (1800).

Not only that, we've got Kettering v Leeds in round two of the FA Cup at 1345, with the draw for the third round following soon afterwards.

Excited? You betcha. And you can follow it all here:

In terms of influence on the team and influence on the results.
------------------------------

Then as I said. Barca needs Xavi on every matches. And they needs Iniesta (and Messi) on all big matches.

Better to have both of them :))

"Diarra is like Makelele in that their whole game is based on fouling"

Yup. And maybe you could add Mascherano to the list."

As a Liverpool fan I would agree. And it frustrates me no end! But it's become a role in most football teams. Look at Essien & Mikel - it works.

Atletico just gone 2-0 up v Espanyol (FK Aguero), but I've lost Lyon-Rennes on 1-1.

FT Catania 0-2 AC Milan

Huntelaar with 2 goals in the 90th Mins.

My happy Sunday was nearly almost completely happy.

However with Inter winning Fiorentina 1-0 & Juve slipping up 2-0 away to Cagliari & Ibracadbra scoing the winner for Barca against Real Madrid in El Clasico - i could not have asked for much more.

Inter Milan are now 7 points clear of AC milan & 8 points clear of Juventus in the Serie A table.

2 MASSIVE Games for Inter next

Sat 5/12 - Derby d'Italia vs Juventus (Away)

Wed 9/12 - CL KO Finale vs Rubin Kazan (Home)

Rennes have TWICE just missed open goals at the end of the match <doh> & Lyon had a good effort saved... 1 min to go.

Atletico finally win 4-0 with 2 goals in the last 5 mins after Espanyol have a man sent off.

Chances go begging in the 5' added time in Lyon. Exciting finish, but... 1-1 final score. Not great for either team but Rennes will p'bly be happier overall.
