The interesting thing about this ODI series is that it is between to inconsistent sides making for unpredictable matches.

Momentum counts for nothing, it is simply which team turns up, as England did today.

Also interesting that both sides are missing their world class all-rounders in Kallis and Flintoff.

Lethal, Englang have made huge strides and are getting better. The last match we would have won had we won the toss.

MOM has to be Anderson.

Pieterson is by a long way our best batsman in terms of average and strike-rate. Idiotic to say he should be dropped.

Some of the South African fans had more faith in the England side than our fans winkeye

Pietersen does seem to be having problems at the moment, I'm guessing more mental than technique. But I still wouldn't drop him, no way.

Any batsman comingback from an injury needs a few practice games, and that includes Pietersen as well.. he needs to play a few games forHants before coming back into the team; or likeMonty he has to pick a SAfrican county.

I am not trying to put down England,my article before the tour started clearly shows this:

I am merely saying that things can go anyway in this series.

Smith must have been reading my comment before last before he came out for the ceremony!

he called in a "battle of inconsistencies" on Cricinfo

Lethal, possibly, but had England batted first in the last one, would we now be talking about inconsistency???

Almost certainly England would have won big!
