Most people have been of the opinion that the title never was a possibility but some strange people have been talking up Liverpool's chances on these boards even up to this week. Just wondering if the 13 gap to Chelsea has changed their minds.

It's so sad to see people backing the management of of Liverpool at this time. The Liverpool squad only have 2 good player in it and the rest is poor. Rafa signed these players and he is to blame for what is happening. Liverpool have been so lucky AT HOME aginst Birmingham and was again Lucky to come away with a draw against City who are not in the best of form at the minute.

Liverpool are playing a VERY VERY poor side in europe this week and should beat them no problems. If they don't and they go out of europe I just hope People finally see the light and get Rafa out the door.

Stranger things have happened, there is still just over 6 months till the end of the season, lots of twists and turns. I personally dont think Liverpool can now possibly win the league, Chelsea all the way BUT we will finish in the top 4 that I am certain of. Were cursed at the moment with injuries and unless you have a list of quality players sitting on the bench to fill in for the injuries to the 1st team, like Chelsea have then like Liverpool you going to suffer in a big way

markowire.... you obviously dont go the match, I do and I can tell you that Liverpool fans although know Rafa has made some bad signings and makes some strange decisions they know he is as good a manager as anyone, he cannot be blamed for the injury crisis we have suffered and because of that, that is the reason why were not having a good season. The only player who is missing from last seasons team is Alonso and yes we are missing him but one man does not make a team. We are NOT a two man team, yes we have missed Stevie and Torres but our main problem is injuries which has caused our confidence to be rock bottom. I really hope Aquaman starts tomorrow night. Why were Liverpool lucky to come away with a draw when they played Mancity?? I was at the game and I would hand on heart say City were the luckier of the two, right at the end if Lucas had headed that ball on target that would have give us 3 points. We had the majority of the possesion and had we not had them two injuries in the first 20 mins we would have beat City no problem. Considering the money City have laid out on players I personaly think they were awful, give the ball away very easily, when tackled lost the ball very easily, they had to put up a brick wall to stop us scoring so I really dont think that is a sign of city being or playing better than Liverpool... do you?????

You need to watch the game in full, there was no equal about it, Liverpool had far more possesion. Mancity as I have said before give the ball away far too easy and when they had the ball Liverpool won it back easily

It'll be interesting to see how the 'Pool do against Wigan at Anfield.

I'm betting they'll manage to scrape a draw.

even more interesting to see how Spurs get on at Anfield, or at any of the other big clubs

True, I only watched the 1st half and some highlights of the second. The 1st half was terrible, both teams were poor.

By the way, possession is a very poor marker of how a team is playing, Sunderland were quite happy to allow arsenal possession in unthreatening areas, especially at 1-0 up.

The BBC match report says... both teams had 6 shots on target. you had 4 shots off target to their 3 while city had 51% possession. That sounds pretty damn equal to me.
