Hull City - West Ham United

Given that FIFA have very clearly used their own rules to make sure France are going to the world cup, perhaps they should make sure that referees across the world know those rules. We've seen too many mistakes this season and yes, of course I'm biased being a West Ham fan but from page 47 of a pdf docuemnt on FIFAs own website comes the rules regarding penalties.

www.fifa.com/mm/document/aff...

A player of both the defending team and the attacking team infringe the Laws of the Game:
the kick is retaken

The penalty never should have stood and should have been retaken.

There's even pictures in this pdf www.fifa.com/mm/document/afd... so any monkey would know what is legal and what isn't.

Rob Green clearly knows the rules so why can't the official paid to know the rules do so?!

That said, cracking game. Bet we're still not first on MotD though. :D

We've finally started playing football with Pearson returning and obviously putting the jitters into Brown.

How you can say we're not good enough when even we haven't seen fully what we have to offer beggars belief.

The stats so far and the way todays game went would suggest that you're not good enough for the premier league more so than ourselves.

I thought we played well and looked like we wanted it so much more. We deserved at least a point regardless of being a man down and regardless of whether or not you think it was a penalty. You could easily have gone down to ten men too with Franco remember and for me probably should have.

Players on yellow cards simply shouldn't slide in like that and Franco got away with it. Mendy was always gonna go (and rightly so).

I'm happy with a point, seems a fair result. We wanted it but early on you punished our shocking defending.

Sorry, but.... Hull are simply NOT good enough for the Premier league. You can not possibly compare Hull with West Ham however badly we are playing.
Hull will never stay in the Premier league. They will get relegated this season, maybe with West Ham the way they are playing!!!!
But Hull will go down. Sorry. Are suited to Championship football

I dont think there is a 3 point banker for a bottom 3 side, and you wont get any sympathy from a Hull City fan when it comes to dodgy decisions in either penalty area.

Now back from pub so is spolling is a bit all oover the place you know why.....
Cut me in half & I am black & amber but 2 down after 10 mins, the lunatic that is Mnedy sent off and we finish 3-3.
Yaeh of course we wanted 3 points, so did WHU but come on!!!
Just think about Wigan, Sunderland and a few others (not Spurs who were soooooooooo good!!) the spirit was there for all to see - if we play and support with the desire shown today we'll be ok...
I refuse to talk anyomore about poor ref decisions, waste of time as it doesn't change anything - stil think we get more bad than good decisions but so does everyone else
Doesn't alter the fact that someone should be taken outside and executed for selling Turner but there we go........
Apologies for tired and emotional response but nerves shot to hell - can we just have a 2-0 on Wed please????????????

For us to stay up, all we need is for three teams to be worse than us and I think there are at least three teams worse than us, the Hammers may well be one of them.

We have a poor defense, we have a right back and a left back that wouldn't get into any other Premier League team, but beyond that, we are really are a decent team.

If we sign Volz, Shorey and Kilgallon, I think we'd guarantee another season in the Premier League, that's only a 4-5m investment, to secure a minimum 35m return.

We know it makes sense winkeye

At least we are playing positive football now and although there are one or two gripes, namely Mendy and Marney (must be something to do with the first letter M and last letter Y)
----------------------------
Just the first letter being M for PL gripes:

McShane, and last season Manucho.

Must be the first time in a long while that we have managed to come from 2-0 down and 2-0 down in the first 10 mins or so.
-------------------------

If you're going to go 0-2 down then I suggest the first 10 minutes....
