Eduardo sign new contract!

comment on the article

Good news, our fox in the box has signed a new "long term" contract, looking forward to seeing him back scoring goals now that RVP is out ok.

Didi? You Drogba he did (U14136023) - Oh no, not another over confident Chelski fan who's come out from the cracks. With more managerial changes than Newcastle, and as superficial as the sugababes, your comments do little to tarnish the commitment of a great player for Arsenal.

I remember the days when Zola was player manager and attempted to sub himself to avoid a red card. How small you were back then was laughable.

I do wish you didn't get rid of Jose Mourinho, as he was the best thing to happen to Chelski. Goes to show true talent doesn't stay long at Stamford Bridge!

Fine then I am happy to amend my comment.

Eduardo has a rubbish strike rate in the Prem.

Hope you feel a whole lot better now.

I notice you've conveniently ignored my earlier comment:

"At Arsenal, Eduardo has started 26 games and scored 13 goals".

How is that a poor strike rate for someone who hasn't had a consistent run in the team?

Didi, I have just read this entire blog and it appears you just change your answer to suit your opinion. If you were able to take a step back and look at what the guy was saying then you would see that he was talking about his strike rate throughout his career being he has only played a handfull of games for Arsenal.

On your reckoning then Sanchez Watt has the best strike rate in the world 100% 1 game 1 goal

Thanks, oh and im talking about first team games just to make that clear to you.

13 in 26 would lead to 19 in a full season.

Would it have have won any Euro Golden Boots?

See,you just helped back up my argument. Not a good strike rate.FACT.

both are prooved scorers, bendtner ofcourse does get alot of chance but there is a clear improvment this year; and believe he has a very strong future at the arsenal. The eduardo comment is just daft.

Back the the article; good work by arsene by signing a long term deal with eduardo; bright future for the gunners with the players we have; Denilson, Song, Gibbs, Ramsey, Wilshire, Vela, Bendtrner, Eastmond and ofcourse theo all have massive potential.

Eduardo could have walked away from Arsenal, given the Mathew Taylor challenge, and exceptionally rotten treatment he got from the UK media after Celtic.

The seige mentality at Arsenal is a good one. And Arsenal in the latest wave of xenophobia, will rise high.

The fact is someone who had their leg brocken in the game is allowed to be roughly handled because referee's are not superhuman, and fall foul of influence by the mass media like all of us. There has to be a transparency in refereeing, or it's time for TV evidence.

But even with that adversity attached to an innocent player. I am glad he remains here, as he has that uncanny first touch in the face of goal, a true magician.

Kudos Wenger

Yes,we saw that the way you crumbled after Captain Gallas had his sit down.

Very impressive seige that was laughlaughlaugh

Dozens of players have broken legs and come back. You sound as if Eduardo is the only one ever.
