The problem has manifested itself into the demise of our game. The Scottish game is dead at club level and internation level. The remaining clubs want to show some unity and take over the SFA. The SFA are a joke and full of little insignificant men who 'think' they know what they are doing. We can complain on individual performances all we want, but until something is done about our game on he whole, we are banging our heads against a brick wall.

Scotland team:
Marshall, Hutton, McManus, Gary Caldwell, Fox (Steven Fletcher 55), Dorrans (Robson 71), Darren Fletcher, Cowie (Riordan 78), Miller (Wallace 55), Naismith (McCormack 62), McFadden (Kyle 62).

Not a single international class individual in there........every one is a below average club squad player at best........ what do we expect?

Well, he damn well should be, along with the bulk of that squad, after that pathetic performance in Wales. It was a total embarrassmwnt and illustrates the desperate state of Scottish football!

Let's face it, Celtic fans know exactly the "quality" level of Caldwell, MacManus and Fox and they formed three of the back four! The other, Hutton, is a pale shadow of the half-decent player he once was. Any footballing nation that is forced to include the likes of Naismith, Miller and McCormack is always going to be in serious trouble.

Mark MacGhee is spot-on ... our level now is probably on a par with the League of Ireland, and maybe not even that.

I reckon the SNP government should have urgent talks with the SFA to see what can be done to improve the situation ... FAST. Scottish fans have surely had enough of defeats like 4-0 and 3-0 at the hands of countries even smaller than ourselves ... it is a national disgrace and an utter humiliation for the long-suffering football fans in Scotland, surely among the finest in the world.

What's 'fine' about the scottish fans exactly? Do you remember what happened at a recent UEFA cup final? And what about those 'fans' who attended the Wales game? They were shouting things at the team that i wouldn't let any pre-teen hear.

nothing will change as people at the to need to go and whilst their there they will preserve themselves.

At this moment the national team need a manager who can play dogged defensive football Like Smith's style, George Graham would give that style of football and enough experience to know how to set up a side to play against vastly superior sides.

the real problem is the Self preservation league(SPL) which needs to be more competitive I would make it an 16/18 team league with 3 relegation places the team who finish 3rd bottom get to play a relegation play-off.

combine division 2 with division 3 to make a 20 team league trying to win promotion to the top division.
