Live - Saturday's football

E-nor-mous. There's no Premier League, but this particular Saturday is a crackerjack nevertheless.

England v Brazil, Wales v Scotland, N Ireland v Serbia - and they're just the (meaningless) friendlies.

Factor in four European zone World Cup play-off first legs - including the mouth-watering Ireland v France - a load of crucial African qualifiers and some Football League action to boot, and we've got a hell of a day on our hands.

Get thee involved.

"UEFA is part of FIFA.
----------------
...FIFA being by far the larger and more powerful body and the one responsible for overseeing the WC. Blaming Platini for the WC playoff seedings is truly absurd, seeing as: 1. Blatter has far, far, far more say in the matter, and 2. Blatter is a vastly less admirable & accountable individual anyway "

wrong

each confederation organizes their own way of deciding who represents at the world cup finals.

I do not want to worry any Liverpool fans but City's first team due to out injury sistuation is looking stronger than ours. In fact only five or so of those names on the team sheet are playing in their natrual postion or are regular starters. On the other hand we do have Aquilani Yossi and Reira on the bench but then again no good striker to come on and make an impact. Anfield's atmostpere will be needed today.
