the sad thing is about yesterdays game was all the moaning from utd fans/players/managers/assistan managers/tea ladies overshadowed 1 thing i noticed...

rooney's amazing performance up front on his own against the best 2 centre halves in the world.....bodes well for world cup i think..

What a pathetic display by 22 stroppy infants. My 3 year old niece can throw a good tantrum but it is nothing compared to these blokes, and Fergie.
They seem to want the ref to blow if they lose the ball. And Fergie's comments about the ref - he forgets the record at Old Trafford of the extra time they get, or how few penalties get awarded against them. He is far far far too old to be stamping his feet when he doesn't get his own way.
The likes of Fergie, Rooney, Drogba should receive some meaningful punishment, like 3 month bans or one years wages as a fine, otherwise it doesn't stop their apalling behaviour.

I lovevthesecfollowing myths:

'utd never get penalties against them'

and

'all that injury time'

I've been going to utd for 20yrs so hopefully can shed some light on this.

Now, for the opposition to win a penalty they have to do what is known as crossing the half way line. Many teams that have come to our place over the last 15yrs haven't done this. In fact, last yr the only teams that actually had a go at us were liverpool, hull, spurs and arsenal. Chelsea got a pasting. 2 of the 4 were rightly awarded pens.

Now on the added time. If a keeper, worst culprits being Robinson and niemi over the yrs, run across there 6yard box at every oppo to waste 30 seconds on every goal kick, at 0-0 may I add, they are asking for it. Villa last yr were feigning injury like mad at 2-1 up and it cost them in the end.

So stop believing the words of braindead kids and actually form a statement based on the football!!
