Did anyone spot the malicious foul Huth did on Altidore in the 56th minute? He got booked for cynically dragging him back but in the replay you can spot an intended stamp on Altidore's left ankle. Dangerous at best.

That sort of thing needs to be dealt with even if it means doing it retrospectively.

Hope Stoke take revenge by beating all the teams around us at the moment - very loud away crowd Stoke and at least Delap can take it on the chin about the long throws - just wish we had that in our arsenal!

"Whether it is enough to keep Brown in his job remains to be seen but the 50-year-old will feel hard done by if he is sacked after such a spirited performance by his players."
==========
I enjoy taking the mickey out of Brown as much as anyone else, but I can never understand the eagerness to chop & change managers at the slightest ruffle. It's like my lounge needs a paint job so I decide to move house!

Have you ever had a more successful manager?
And who would you have in his place who'd be better?

Look at Brown's record in 2009: 4th win in the Premier League today
He's fallen out with too many players: Cousin, King, Boateng, Fagan ....
He's started to play over defensive after the good start last season
It's taken a new chairman to get him to do what the fans have been saying all year

I may be way off here, I dont follow Hull but has Phil Brown ever apologised for his public humiliation of his players when he kept them on the pitch at half time at the Man City game and does anyone else feel like maybe he lost his players respect and possibly started his own demise from then onwards

Im not a hull fan, but that was a good comeback. To be honest I think the hull fans and board are being a bit hard on phil brown because even though they've had a poor run of games, the manager kept hull in the premier league last season and now that they're still there they think they are a team that deserves to be in the prem....!!??
Sacking the manager isn't going to do any good. In all honesty, hull are rubbbish so the fans and the board should expect them to lose a majority of thier games. Last year early season they were lucky, then reality caught up with them.
Good comeback but hull are still relegation candidates.

Neither the players nor the fans are bothered about Eastlands. Other fans and lazy journalists talk about it all the time.

About 40% of the teams in the Premier League are poor. What Hull fans don't like is that Brown has been playing teams that don't stand a chance of winning and falling out (and dropping) too many players. Before Adam Pearson returned we would have tried to keep a clean sheet and nick a goal and lost 2-0. Now Brown sees he's got a chairman who'll get rid of him if he doesn't get some points quickly he plays a team that can win if we attack.
