Monstermasch,you are wrong, as you do! You need to download a program which I can't remember,but Google "Fm 2009 network game" you should get it off one of those sites.

HAMACHI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

its what i use, sets up a LAN line between you and friends! Its brilliant, i used it on FM, r6v, OF and aoe3 to-date! So many games don't have dedicated servers anymore which means online play is near impossible, so yeah Hamachi is a good tool to use, highly recommend it!
