Hi fellow Notts fans...

I've just heard that we have Jorge Andrande on trial. He is 31 years old, and previous clubs include Juventus & Porto. Doesn't sound half bad... he doesn't currently have a club.

I'll guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens.

He's been with us longer than that, which is a good sign! He's been living in the same hotel as Daniel Jones and Kasper etc. Not sure why the story has suddenly broken now, but if he can sort his knee out, and be at least half the player he was, he would be an excellent signing!

( VOTE CLIFTONMUGPIE for Christmas Mascot ok )

He's had 2 serious knee injuries so he isn't going to be the player he was, but like notts_girl says, if he is half the player he was he'll be a big, big signing...

Christmas mascot?! Do it... ok

On a more serious note, Sol has been offered an 18 month contract at Hertha Berlin... ?!

Fellow pie fans, Andrade's training with us right now as Sven is doing him a favour but if his knees hold up, will he not be looking for a higher league club?

Hertha Berlin are currently rock bottom of the Bundesliga. they've lost nine of eleven matches, conceding 25 goals.

Sounds like just the kind of challenge Sol might need. Time to put your cape back on, mate! The one that starts with 'C'.

Agree with you all, even half the palyer he was, Andrade would be very handy in this division, even on a contract until the end of season.

I think we can give Andrade more credit than Sol. He got a nice pay off from Juventus and I'm sure he didn't do too badly during his 5 years at Deportivo. After 4 serious operations and a failed trial at Malaga, no one would blame him for calling it a day! Shows he wants to play football!!

I'm absolutely stunned by this news.

Having seen him play for Deportivo, Portugal and Juventus, I rated him highly.

I cannot believe that no EPL, Serie A or La Liga side went for him.

I don't know what state of health he is in, but this IMO would be one of the most remarkable signings ever.

its his dicky knee thats the stumbling block(pun not intended),but if he is fit why not pay has you play deal.
it would be stupid to sign a top class player on good money for him to sit with the physio on match days..........

and its impossible countygirl for me to be mascot has notts want to attract fans to the lane not scare them awaywinkeye
