Di Maria for Man Utd?

Manchester United
comment on the article

Anybody who saw Benfica's thumping 5-0 win over Everton in the Europa League will not be surprised that there is a lot of interest from Premier League clubs in Angel Di Maria.

The 21-year-old Argentina international put in a sublime display on the left wing, setting up three of the Portuguese side's goals.

Watch out for him at Goodison Park tonight in the return... a lot of managers will be!

Manchester United are the latest club to be linked with a January swoop for Di Maria... who could be available for £12m. Could he help plug the creative gap left by Cristiano Ronaldo's departure to Real Madrid in the summer? Let me know if you've seen more of him than I have... is he consistently that good?

Another rising star, CSKA Moscow winger Miloš Krasic is also being linked with a move to England, with Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City all rumoured to be interested.

Again, have you seen much of Krasic? Is he good enough to become a star in the Premier League... give your thoughts below.

Oh, and you can tweet me at Twitter about this too:

so the speculation on silva means everyone is saying that he is 100% coming to old trafford, and he plays on the left aswell? so why would fergie buy both of them?

Hang on a minute, Silva said he would love to play for Man U, Chelsea or Liverpool didn't he? The different reports you see, have both players being looked at by all 3 clubs. Would be funny if they both ended up in Spain.

There are no different reports apart from the ones in your head! Silva has said he would love to play for Man Utd and Villa would only move to Man Utd if moving to England.
Money Talks so if it taks 80-100m to buy these 2 then do the deal but what you have to remember is that Valencia are heavily in debt so i could see a deal being struck for aroung 40-40m for both!
Man Utd in debt dont make me laugh! Sure they have loans but the Glazers are Billionaires lol

well i say this as a liverpool fan but ferguson has tured the unknown into the reknowned. ronaldo giggs scholes beckham cantana vidic irwin the list just goes on . di maria will oviously be a person who is in the first 11 or subs will become a big player, if he does not find a place on the bench then he is probably not going to do much. i would buy silva as priority

Silva is unlikely to jeopardise his place in the national team with a move away from Spain in a pre-world cup year. After World Cup, who knows.

Exactly! Why another winger when we need a centre back who is quick, strong and reliable as further cover for Rio and a striker who can shoot straight most of the time not just sometimes

Exactly! We dont need yet another winger. We do need another centre back who is strong, quick and reliable as cover for Rio and we need a striker who can shoot straight most of the time - not just some of the time smiley

I´m a SL Benfica supporter, and i want u to know that anyone here will let Di Maria go out in January!!! Is 21yo and will be on the world cup! If anyone want him pay 100million€....or go take a ride!
Now more seriously - Is an excelent player but is not the kind of player to PL - its my opinion. Have anyone saw Everton-SL Benfica today? Is the kind of player to play in team with players like Saviola, Aimar, Ramires. In England? who have players like that? SL Benfica supporter nº 11701 ( we are more than 200000 official supportes) biggest team in the world!!!!
