Surely it wont be long before the present manager gets the bullet and sven takes charge. Yet again another dodgy result this evening 2-2 at home to Torquay who are second bottom, what do you nots county fans thing should the current manager stay or go in my opinion its go has they should be winning this league comfortably with the players they have.

very interesting article.charlie should stay,he deserves the chance to get the few annoying niggling problems out but he needs a good couple of defenders and we need to sign up maloney who was a big miss today.come on sven, get us 2 top centre backs.as for today, hughes and rodgers just didnt look sharp enough and we missed jonny jackson.one last thing, sign matt ritchie!

Until Torquay scored Notts County totally dominated the game and could/should have had 3 or 4 by half time with a mind to push on. Afterwards County were shaky defensively and perhaps lucky to get a point. I'm surprised McParland waited until s late in the game to try and change things.

This is the first time I have felt the need to discuss the Magpies performance. I am and always have been a fan of Charlie but today the tactics are beyond my understanding. In the first half today Notts played Torquay off the park who I believe gave us too much respect. We should have been out of sight but once Torquay scored and realised they could cause us problems they gained in confidence and to be honest could have scored a couple more goals. What I am really shocked about is our formation - why was Neil Bishop playing at full back when the midfield partnership of himself and Ricky Ravenhill is arguably the best in the division. With Clapham and Hunt both on the bench why did we play Bishop at full back and Ben Davies in the middle of midfield (he is excellent when in a wide position!!). I am not sure what message it sends out to Hunt and Clapham when we play a midfielder as makeshift fullback when both of them are more than capable. Even before the game we could not understand how the formation would work - Colin Slater thought that Matt Ritchie would play at left back. I am also not sure if Ritchie and Jones can play on the same flank - they both seem to play too deep and we do not seem to attack the fullback enough for me on that side - it is early days though. For Notts to get promotion we need to be able to keep clean sheets regularly and I believe we have the personnel to do it. When Lee is available I think he has got to play alongside JT with Maloney and Jones at fullback - I think this would be our strongest backline with Bishop sitting just in front of them. In response to the managers position - I think Charlie will be under serious pressure if we are outside of the play off places at Christmas. Apologies for the long message - I was very angry. Bring on the next match !!

Aren't you 5th after 12 games, with (by far) the best goal difference in the league after surviving a relegation battle last year? Get some perspective, 34 games to go.
