Another query…

Has a swimming champion or great competitor in the past ever been allergic or had reactions to Chlorine.. Hence having great potential but being unable to participate in major tournaments.

Silly WUMs. Not sure about Champions, but my National-standard girlfriend is allergic to chlorine. Sounds funny, but when she's sneezing VERY LOUDLY after every session for about 3 hours it wears thin. smiley

It is well known that Ian Thorpe has an allergy to chlorine that he suffered badly from in his early days as a junior.
