The mens road race team looks strong but (due to Wiggins not riding) with noone who you feel can really pose a big threat - I think its to hilly for Cav. Who's likely to miss out? Do you think Wiggins can medal in the time trial? The women have great chances in both RR and TT with Cooke, Pooley and Armitstead. Pete Kennaugh is one to watch out for in the U23s.

Have they ever had a WC course with a lot of cobbled sections?

I can't imagine they'd see that as being fair, although a certain few countries might be happy.

Haha, yep, I reckon Fab might have done the double given a cobbled course.

cobbles might at least increase some northern Europeans' chances against the might of Spain and Italy.

Last time Worlds were held in Belgium they made it easy for the Italians by using a flat as pancake course for Cipo to win.

Hammond showed great form in the early vuelta stages I'm sure he will be up there assuming Cav is fit to race
