Kranjcar completes deal
We are delighted to announce that we have reached agreement with Portsmouth for the transfer of Niko Kranjcar to the Club, following the player successfully completing a medical examination and agreeing personal terms.

The Croatia international began his career with Dinamo Zagreb, where he made his debut at the age of 16 and captained the side to a league and Super Cup double in 2003.

I'm right handed but can still feel t its "sweetly" with my left!

Nothing to do with the price of tea in China you oaf!

It does when I'm responding to someone who states he's got a sweet left foot when he's actually right footed, can't say I've ever seen him strike a ball sweetly with his left foot, it's all been right, right & right again.

I would be seriously worried if I was a Pompey fan. They've started awfully and of their 1st 11 at the start of last season only about 2 players are still there. They probably won't go bankrupt now but they're surely going down.

Right footed (?), left footed (?), cover for Modric (?), only turns up now and again (?)

Fact is he is youngish (25), a seasoned international, featured in most of Pompey's finest moments of recent years and did well enough for the then manager to want him again.
Amazingly, therefore, he cost no more than the out of favour, Sunderland exports to Ipswich. 'Arry seems able to pull these deals out of a hat at a time when 2M only gets you the guy who runs the half-time pie dispense in the car park. erm

good deal, harry obviously trusts him, has the respect of the player, krancjar looked like he needed a new challenge and in world cup year he'll be eager to impress.

o'hara should come back to spurs with a full season in the 1st team knowing his best position.

Kranjcar fits in with the style of football that Harry wants to play. He is a known entity to Harry.
Good signing.

Harry's clever. He's bought a player that's not a grafter but someone with a bit of flair to unlock defences when the going gets tough. He may prove to be a similar type to Bentley but lets hope his international experience tells.

as far as I know Kranjcar scored more goals and has more assists than Modric in Croatian national team...their teeam looks quite different when Niko is not playing..maybe he isn't fastest, but his vision and understanding of the game is world class..his ability to unlock the defence with passes and tricks is unbelieveable.so Mihalj, you must be one of the frustrated BBB Dinamo's fans if you are saying that Modric is by miles better than Kranjcar...or you just don't undesttabd the game...Prosinecki was lazy and slow as well,by the way...
