comment on the article

It's one of the best days to be a football fan, with the transfer window slamming shut at 1700 BST.

Clubs up and down the land will be frantically trying to bolster their squads ahead of a long, arduous winter, and this is last-chance saloon for them to do just that.

We will bring you all the news as and when it happens, but today cannot work without your input. Follow it all, right here...

If you check website Wikipedia - Under current club for striker RAFAEL SOBIS - it says Liverpool! Why havent any of the media picked up on our (Liverpool's) new signing!

Believing wikipedia articles about footballs usually doesn't go so well.

Too sum it up, that was a truelly shocking day. No big money signing by any of the top 4... no real shockers.. no real nothing really. Alot of half-class teams buying no class players :/

Being a Palace fan, you watch events enfold with stupid optimism you might sign a star. But the likelihood is you will only see your talent in the form of Moses, Scannell, Clyne be robbed by giants Wigan & Stoke only to see them drop down to the Championship having warmed the bench for 6 months (Watson, Soares)... NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS!
