Modders - broken leg

Premier League Tottenham Hotspur
comment on the article

Hello all. With great dismay I have to inform you that there have been numerous reports that our little Croatian masterpiece has broken his fibula. Will be out for 8 weeks...... It begs the question, who's coming in?

Your thoughts and opinions please.

ps - COYS!!!!!!!!!

Yep you dream about that unprobable win. At the moment Spurs are by far the better team because we have proven top class cover in nearly all positions and have only made a loss nearly 3m with all the transfers we have made.

There is way too much hype about Modric being out. We have bought an absolute top notch replacement. With Lennon and Kranjcar flying at your full backs, as well as centre backs, it looks like a tight one.

I don't think either side will walk it. I'm gambling on a score draw I think.

Lennon? You mean the guy Spurs stole from Leeds?

tok, you keep posting about this

one of the advantages of being a well-run club like ourselves is we are able to pick up bargains like lennon, carrick, and now it seems kranjcar from clubs who aren't/haven't been run so well

Leeds gambled and lost, so did Chelsea but they won the lottery at the last minute otherwise we would have picked up a baragain or two from them

it's life - you win some you lose some

we blew a lot of money on rebrov, we let souness and crouch go for peanuts, it happens

Greaves..your not well run you are a set of bankers who have blundered from one disaster to the next but are owned by a man with more money than god and what you did to Leeds is the reason that this country in the past had a law against usury which only non christians were allowed to practice.

tok

you just don't have a clue do you?

I wouldn't know where to start putting you right, so I won't bother

You just concentrate on getting out of the third division, we'll concentrate on trying to finish top 6 <ok>

Greaves...Don't be silly, you think that we have any imput to where clubs are or where they're going? We are just observers and really should try not to look at things through tinted glasses which would allow us to call it as it is.

I think it's you who has the tinted glasses on tok :-)

Of course I can't decide Spurs financial decisions any more than you can Leeds

I'm just grateful I support a well-run club, which is able to pick up quality players like Lennon and Carrick on the cheap

but as i freely admit we make mistakes too- plenty of them - like all clubs

Greaves...As I have already said Spurs are not well run in terms of player purchases. Bent, Bentley, Bale, Hutton, Gomes. They give Crouch away and pay a kings ransom to get him back. They rely on a cripple who can't train at the centre of their defence then pay megabucks for another and they won't get a season out of the two combined and those are just the ones I've noticed, I'm sure a close observer would name as many again.

So the bottom line is Spurs don't use the transfer market well they waste money by the barrowload but they do rip off struggling clubs who can't defend themselves like Palace from whom they stole Bostock and Routledge and Leeds from whom they stole Keane, Rose and Lennon.

Finally Leeds aren't mine any more than Spurs are yours but I do know that the premiership would be a better place with Leeds there rather than anyone of ten other clubs currently esconsed in it and Spurs were one of the clubs who caused Leeds to be relegated so why try to defend the indefensible.

as i say tok you haven't got a clue about our club's dealings

you're so wrong it's not worth trying to put you right

we are a well-run club, ever-presents in the prem, the 5th most successful club in the country this decade with the 6th highest net spend

your club was poorly run and got relegated

it will take you years, possibly decades to get back to our level again, if you ever do

Greaves... can you tell me in what sense Spurs are "Your club". You're not Levys brother or sister are you? or do you mean you applied for a season ticket and bought a scarf.

Seriously sad.
