Firstly congratulations on an ambitions signing and there being a fee involved, maybe some of the money from fletcher getting used good to see. But dont you's have to many strikers at the club a good thing or bad?? You's have strength in depth upfront thats for sure maybe if your defence is up to scratch this season you's mite get 3rd and maybe push the old firm abit you's def a team capable of scaring hearts that for sure.

Gutted this morning for obvious reasons. But I have to take my hat off to you guys. At worst you'll be watching unpredictable exciting football this season. At best you'll be right in contention for Europe. Either way you'll probably turn a couple of mil profit on the deal in a few years time. Good business for hibs today.

I cant believe Rod Petrie has spent money bolstering the Hibs squad ... especially on the only area of your squad that doesnt need bolstered.

You have 5 cracking strikers ... if only you had a keeper, a centre half, and a midfield.

Barr would be exactly who we need at the back.

With JJ's age and ability to be injured i reckon he will be away by Jan.

Although Benji is back (and i was glad to see him score)ramadam is upon us again and he along with Zemamma may not be fully fit for the next few weeks or so.

yeah really encouraged by the signing too - agree though about the defense, def need a CB and back up for right and left back as don't rate van zanten and Hogg can go awol at vital moments - he was helped out so much by big Rob. really pleased to see young McCann back to form though - reckon he could be a big player for us with his confidence back, perhaps also there's talent in defense in the reserves? also hope that Nish is on his way out, never much more than a donkey up front for us but feeling positive for the season c'mon the Hibbees!

Have to say that Hibs have signed a genuine SPL goal machine! There isn't many strikers about that can pull 15-25 goals out off the bag in this league, however Stokes proved he can as a teenager and I am certain he will do once again. Great peice off business by John Hughes...

Benji and Stokes are now two of the best strikers in the league IMO. Riordan will create things if he plays left wing, RANKERS should be worries winkeye..
but hearts looked shocking against dundee united so surely hibs and dundee united are goin for 3rd.

I think stokes is a great buy, always did well
at sunderland, even if you have strikers he is
probably better than most of them,he is also
good on the wing,so you can mix it up a bit!.
Good luck to you and stokes from a mackem.
