Worthy's selection dilemma

The game itself had friendly written all over it.Great strike from McCann though if anything the performance's of some players leaves the gaffer with an even bigger selection dilemma ! At the back why did he play Baird when hes suspended for the Poland game ? Also our midfield is looking better and better all the time with Clingan,Davis,Johnson,McCann and Brunt all fighting for a starting place. Nial McGinn looked explosive down that right wing when he came on and deserves special praise. The biggest issue for me is up front and the situation with Sir David Healy, nobody can deny he is a legend in OWC and a lethal predator in the box when he is confidentially fully fit, playing regular games and razor sharp. Healy unfortunately is not, and in recent NI games it has showed.Marty Patterson did as much as Healy last night and if Patterson is a regular regular in the Burnley team in the premiership then he will be in better shape to lead the GAWA attack. Who would you start upfront with in Poland ?

was paddy mccourt injured last night? saw him play in the Wembley Cup and he looks a decent player, would be a good impact player to come on if needed

Also whats the story with messers Capaldi and Sproule, do they not want to be selected or has big Nigel fallen out with them? I think the lad McGivern has more potential

Capaldi - i got no idea

Sproule - NW must have a personal problem with him as he refuses to pick him.....

and McGivern has no potential whatsoever. FACT

If you want potential, give Coleraine striker Rory Patterson a chance! Watch out for him this season!

we have great youth players coming through Tuffey was immense Lafferty was the best player on the park.
Healy should be dropped for Feeney in the interesets of qualification.
Nigel has got to get the selectionv right for the key matches in september

how about the 4-5-1 /4-3-3 formation favoured by a number of premier league teams these days??

play healy through the middle, laffery on the left, where he plays for rangers alot of the time, and patterson on the right??

it would also allow us to play davis, brunt and mccann in centre midfield.
