No sure if the Article on the club website is the 'exciting announcement' but it states no monetry values, just a link has been formed with an Asian tycoon! No new sponsership or stadium rights no real anything!!

If this is it, then pr has greatly overhyped this and has dissapointed me and I'm sure many people no end!!

Disappointment

I never ever thought I'd be feeling sorry for PR, but he's damned if he does, and damned if he doesn't

If he doesn't appear to do anything people question what he is doing for the club.

PR has had his hands full getting the new stadium up and running. Now thats done he has turned his hand to attracting investment to the club.........this is a step in the right direction IMO, and anyone who expected him to come back waving a bankers draft for umpteen squillion quid was being naive in the extreme.

Business relationships, especially in the far east need to be nurtured and developed slowly and steadily. If this relationship is handled properly then it will grow and benefit both parties.

If the initial cash boost is in the region of 5 - 10 mill (not a huge investment by todays standards). Well that could pay the wages of two decent loanees, with perhaps a signing now or at Xmas...and could mean we don't have to sell one of our players come next season.

I like a few of the old codgers on here have seen many false dawns at Cardiff City.

But when you look at PR's track record, he has obviously learned from his mistakes of the past.

And I very much doubt he would go Public with this unless it was very much "done and dusted"

I think this could start off reasonably modest, but could grow and grow <ok>

KTF!

If these potential investors are so cautious with their money will they really invest in a club run by the man who bankrupted Leeds United?

But if they chose to ignore that and do invest, then maybe Cardiff City fans should worry about what Risdale may have signed up to.

Because if I was a Cardiff fan - which I'm not, obviously - I would want total transparency from Ridsdale and to be kept informed of who's getting what out of any deal.

Wouldn't it be awful if he signed away the shiny new stadium!
