But the article on the in BBC and ECB does seem to hint of some at the FPT will be binned that a new sunday tournament will take its place early in the season. But I suppose the one good thing is that there won't be test matches played in Durham when it's absolutly freezing in May and that the premier form of cricket will be showcased in June, July and August, instead of having T20 and ODI's taking over at that time of the year

toomuchcaffiene (U12594788) posted Jul 29, 2009 Im not a great 50 over fan, but its a useful middlepoint between the 2 extremes of first class and 20/20. Without it players that are 20/20 or first class specialists dont have a chance to gradually learn to adjust to the other form by first playing 50 overs.
