Frankly my disappointment the other day was that when he attacked the Schlecks he actually backed off when he realised Kloden couldn't follow. I would have loved to see him really rip things apart, because for me he's not stretched himself yet - with the possible exception of today's TT.

I find it mad that he took any stick for that attack. The Schleck's were certain to attack on the last climb so given his lack of response, AK had gone anyway. The only people who think AC's attack was wrong seem to be the extreme LA supporters looking to disparage AC.

and I do believe that LA would forego the top prize to produce a winning team as well as project even further his charity

Some of these lance fanboys

UrlaubInPolen thanks for that was not aware that he was talking to them before the season started (only realy started looking at more that just the resaults this year). So if he were to move then do you think he would go there or is there a change that he will move to another team? and can you see him maybe join Team Lance as the man that LA builds the team around

Bear in mind I support Caisse d'Epargne, so I would be totally made up about it if Contador were to move to become a squirrel.

I think it would take a lot of persuasion for him to join Team Lance. His experiences this year with Lance and Bruyneel have probably soured him on them rather a lot, and he would be left to balance the potential benefit (unbeatable side built around him in the long run) against the inconvenience of continuing to work with Armstrong twittering about how Contador is evil and not a team player, and Bruyneel compromising his team leader to get Lance on the podium.

Would you sign up to be the team leader of a team that didn't support you?

I see what you are saying and I would think twice about signing

but I wonder how much of this is all mind games by Astana to throw off the other teams, as I see it when AC attacked LA did not respond and looked to be fine to me, and was just holding his place ready to respond to the other teams like anyother teammate would

I did think it was hilarious that the annoncement was planned for yesterday, which everyone must've known would be Armstrong's weakest stage... Typical way to stay in the headlines - and draw the media from focussing on Cancellara and Cavendish!
