Quag's just signed for Napoli

Not sure what the price tag was actually, would be interesting to find out

Quagliarella is a top striker- so frustrated to see him leave especially to Udinese! he has everything he is 26 now and is at the best age to prove things and be a great player. La quinta had a very good season but has failed to live up to his hype and is getting on a but.

All i know about Quagliarella is that he's keeping David Villa and Drogba out of my Fifa 09 team.

Well I dunno if he's quite that good yet :P but if he can score more goals then he's certainly one of the most complete strikers I've ever seen. Probably the best outside-the-box striker I've ever seen, already, just needs to work on scoring the inelegant tap-ins (even his goals from 5 yards out are all stupendous).

He's moved to Napoli? (Quag)

Even tho there a Big club but they haven't done much in previous years but i don't really follow them at all so can't really comment.

Yeah, quag's at Napoli now, signed about a month ago.

They were in Serie B until 2 seasons ago, and then after promotion they signed Lavezzi, Hamsik (mainly) in the summer, and got quite a good finish (midtable) in their first Serie A season.

Then they signed a few good players (Maggio is amazing, Denis, a few others) and had a disappointing season - despite leading Serie A for some of the early part.

I cant remember who it was - Napoli or Udinese, though I think it was Udinese, went about 3 months without a win.

I think the main reason Quag signed for Napoli - there was serious interest from Inter, Juve - was that he would be guaranteed first team football there (Zalayeta's a good player for them but I don't know about automatic first choice... Denis was very poor last season and exit rumours this summer persist... Lavezzi has been quite tempermental, despite being loved by the fans), and also the fact that he's quite publicly admitted he supported Napoli as a child (Maradona era)

Both Real Madrid and Barca would have trouble dealing with good old Livingston FC!
