Best player you have seen live

With the NFL game at wembley upcoming in a few months, I am pretty excited about seeing one of the all time greats in Tom Brady, plying his trade live on our shores. Got me wondering, who is the best player you have seen play live? Are there any past and present you'd like to/love to have see(n)?

Best player I have seen was Barry Sanders in the 1993 American Bowl. He only played in the first quarter but, in one play, he showed everything that was good about him. If I remember correctly, he ran to the left but all the gaps had defenders in them. He immediately reversed direction, swept around the right end and tore off a 50 yard run. Genius.

Would have loved to see Joe Montana play. In my opinion, the best ever.

I was pleased to see Steve Young in the 1992 American Bowl, but he had a stinker, losing 12-0 at halftime. His replacement, Elvis Grbac (remember him), then led the 49ers from behind to beat the Redskins 17-15 with a last second field goal.

was at Bears @ Giants in NYC Nov 2006, so had the pleasure of seening , Urlacher in top form , Devin Hester returning the missed FG 108yrds for TD unbelieveable moment,
2007 Broncos @ Bears....yet again Hester was amazing with 2 returns for TD's , in that match was also Jay Cutler .

PLayers I'd love to have seen , Lawerence Taylor, Walter Patyon, Barry Saunders, Randel Cunningham

Went to Bengals @ Colts MNF game in Dec 2006 and the Manning/Harrison partnership blew me away. You could tell they knew exactly what they were doing and where they would be on every play, and it lead to 3TDs for Marv that night & 4 in total for Peyton. Dwight Freeney also had a big game with 3 sacks and looked a real force on the line.
Was also really impressed with both Brees & Rivers at last years Wembley game.

Would have loved to have seen Jerome Bettis, John Elway & Steve McNair; would love to see AP, Roethlisberger & Vick.

Seeing LaDainian Tomlinson at Wembley last year was pretty cool, especially as he decided to turn up and play, broke off a couple of nice runs, and the cut he made after catching the ball from rivers to score his TD was wicked. Also seeing Brees play during his best ever season so far was alright. Looking forward to seeing Brady rip the Buccs to pieces though

Montana & Rice briefly in the 1988 American Bowl.
Competitive match, probably Tomlinson!

In terms of overall stature in the NFL it would be LT, but watching Brees was immense at Wembley last year and it was a pleasure to see him do what he does best.

Thats the only game I've seen, but getting to 2 this season, so hopefully will be able to add some more memories.

Frank Gore and Patrick Willis were brilliant when I saw the 49ers play the Lions, but I'm not sure it counts if you played well against the '08 Lions?

Herschel Walker, he was top of his game when i 1st got into the NFL. was gutted when the Cowboys traded him but set them on the road to glory in the 90's.

Of todays players Adrian Petersen or LaDainian Tomlinson would be good to watch.

How quick do those wembley tickets go!!!!!
