Bradford team vs Wigan

Super League Bradford
comment on the article

has tadulala been dropped then? or is he injured? good to see youngsters in the squad

In this week's Bulls Eye, Head Coach Steve McNamara looks ahead to Sunday's engage Super League round 21 clash at the Grattan Stadium when Wigan Warriors are the visitors.

STEVE McNAMARA

WIGAN ARE COMING HERE ON THE BACK OF THREE STRAIGHT WINS. WHAT SORT OF GAME ARE YOU EXPECTING FROM THEM?

I expect any game from Wigan will be a very tough one. They have a lot of very good individuals in their side and they will be a challenge for us. Obviously we have under performed in recent weeks and we need to get back on track very, very quickly. In all the recent games we have been very dominant in large parts but we have not been able to go on with it. There is no one more critical than ourselves and we know we need to do better. We have a great bunch of players out there who are ready to play this week.

WHO ARE THE DANGER MEN FOR WIGAN THIS WEEK?

Like I said they have a great side packed with talented individuals. They have a great blend of youth and experience and I particularly like the way Sam Tomkins has come into the side and forged a link with Thomas Leuluai and they have been very impressive.

THERE ARE EIGHT GAMES LEFT. DO YOU THINK YOU HAVE A REALISTIC CHANCE OF MAKING THE PLAY OFF'S?

I certainly think with the personnel we have got we have a great chance of making it. We need to knock off this game this week and attack each game from then in. The side is its own worst critic. As much as anyone this side is disappointed with its performances and we intend to put that right.

SQUAD

Steve McNamara has made two changes to the 19 man squad that was named for Hull KR last week. Elliott Whitehead and Steve Crossley replace Craig Kopczak and Semi Tadulala.

The Squad is:

Paul Sykes, Jamie Langley, Rikki Sheriffe, Sam Burgess, James Donaldson, Nick Scruton, Steve Menzies, Terry Newton, Wayne Godwin, Matt Cook, Dave Halley, Chris Nero, Andy Lynch, Steve Crossley, Ben Jeffries, Elliott Whitehead, Michael Worrincy, Michael Platt, Paul Deacon.

Still not good enough for me TBH.

In the few games Whitehead has played he deserves to be chosen ahead of the rest. About time Crossley was in. Scores a lot of tries for a prop.

Would like to have seen Hyde and Straugheir in the squad as they both seem to be constantly mention in the reserve games.

Any predictions for the result on sunday? i have not spoke to 1 bradford fan who thinks the bulls will win!! If wigan start well and score some points early there may be a big score.

Some fans rave about Tadulala but I don't rate him that much to be honest. He's terrible under the high kick and his positional sense leaves alot to be desired.

I agree with Lynch4Eng, I'd like to see more of the youngsters in our last few games. People speak highly of Crossley, lets get him in the team and see how he goes.

with 8 games to go i would be disappointed if the juniors taht are so highly rated dont get 4 games each shared out over the rest of the season as i wouldnt be one for putting them all in at once as some would suggest.

I am glad tadulala is out tbh.he hasnt looked interested for weeks and think he loses interest too easy. I lost interest in him wigan away, when he crawled off with an injury and was absolutley fine the week after with no mention of any potential injury.

suppose if we are guarenteed 2 of donaldson and whitehead and crossley(preferably all three) cant complain but wouldbe nice to see hyde and maybe straugheir in too!! but suppose lets see how last eight games go.
