Is this one of the best KOM comps?

I never normally find the KOM competition particulary intresting but this year it's been gripping. Who do you think will win however? I think Pellizotti probably just has too much ability in the high mountains and will win.

Yeah its been a great contest so far BUT i fear that Pellizotti may burn out and someone else could steal the jersey, though that could be completely wrong.

I'd love to see Brice get a few more points and challenge for the jersey.

To be honest, the whole tour makes test match cricket look exciting.
How many stages and points are won because no body thinks it's worth chasing people down.
When they do a sprinter wins a 200 km stage, doh!Great.
Still the lycra is very colourfull and look a chateau.
I try to enjoy it but It is just trading on a romantic image.
As for Cavendish and Armstrong what a pair of arrogant selfish burks.
Thousands of miles and someone is in the lead because they won a time trial on day 2. Forget the final day everyone makes sure the previous days leader is still in front with 3Km to go and wins.g

More uphill mountain finishes are required to sort the men out from the boys, so far this tour has been pedestrian and uninspiring. KOM should be the main event not a side salad.

And as for illegal substance abuse, don't even get me started.

It thinks it a little over the top to call it one of the best comps.
It's only in the last couple of days that a top climber has become involved and thats only because he had a bad day earlier, due I believe to a stomach upset, and has had to change his priorites now a top GC finish is not possible.
He is more than capable of retaining it by riding with the mainfront group in the Alps.

"Is this one of the best KOM comps?"

No, because none of the best climbers are involved.
