bigcog (U8198653) posted Jul 17, 2009 shame for him, a strong prospect for Wiggins being on the podium. Levi I suspect had torn loyalties with AC/LA. He's been very loyal to AC in recent years successes but obviously has history with LA too.

only1redders (U1736866) posted Jul 17, 2009 I was going to put up a post asking exactly the same question! There is no doubt that this will weaken Astana in general, although still hard to see any realistic challengers out there. I'm more of an AC fan myself, but as long as there is a 'fair' fight between the 2 of them, then the winner will surely deserve the prize

Clarke_one_nil (U846292) posted Jul 17, 2009 It will definately help Contador. Popovych has struggled so far so Armstrong is lacking his two best lieutenants (and was robbed of Horner after his injury), while Contador has half of Caisse to call upon as well as his Astana riders.

manxbikeboy (U12654391) posted Jul 17, 2009 Whilst wishing no ill on Levi, this ought to spur on Bradley as a podium finish is definitely achievable, the form he's in. What chance him attacking AC or LA on one of the big climbs if he's feeling good? Comment on this article
