BertFromIreland (U14072217) posted Jul 16, 2009 A push is not defined in the Rules of Golf, we can't therefore assume a definition. Rule 14 applies, as does the definition of a stroke. The organising committee would never disqualift Tiger Woods unless he comitted a clear breach of the rules. If the stroke is brought to his attention, he will simply state that he made a fair stroke, and that will be the end of the matter. Player's at that level always get the benefit of the doubt, cases in point being, Monty, Rory McIllroy, Seve etc. So it's time to let the issue drop.

ThumbsUp (U14017505) posted Jul 16, 2009 Why do people keep say playing links golf in strong winds and perhaps driving rain as the true test of golf. Being a fairly good golfer myself, I personally cannot think of anything more unattractive. Am I alone in thinking this?

Am I the only one who's sick of him 'bigging himself up' and then seeing him fail? I like the guy, he brings colour to the game in more ways than one but he needs to let his clubs do the talking Comment on this article |
