If your theory is right, WFF, then we'll find out in the next few days, as all people who hold a 10% or higher share in a club have to be named.

And where's all this negativity about his personal wealth come from? Does it matter? At least we know that once we're taken over, we'll at least have the money to keep ourselves going in te world's best football league.

The worlds BEST league???? Its the world RICHEST league - but not the best, all pretty overinflated, where an average player cost you 10Mio.....an utter joke!!!!!! Rest assured, the bubble will burst one day

I expect that the deal and the FPP Test will be wrapped in the next few weeks. It would be nice if we grabbed some of the quality talent available on free in the meantime. I think that Julian de Guzman would be a perfect fit in our midfield.

Due Dilligence - DONE

PL Fit and proper test - Shouldn't cause any conern after this amount of time to get the affairs in order.

What is the real snag is this negotiation on price. The club is not the same value as it was when the offer came in. Will Gadymark see it that way?? Will he play hard ball to get his money back??

That statement about "we only said the Due Dilligence would be completed by July" Scares me to heck. If they both drag this out, we could be stuck in the deep smelly stuff!!

Hard to see how he's going to get value for money, surely Portmsouth have a finite support due to the size of the population. I can't really see kids running around other cities with pompy shirts on their backs. It's a real shame it's taking this amount of money for people to get enthusiatic about there teams chances. In these financial times is this really the solution to the problem. Aren't we just creating an even bigger gap between the have's and have nots?

And I want to see pompey succeed as I do get along to the odd game, The whole thing is just getting a bit elitist for me.

I think I'd almost rather be where we are than where you are at the moment.
.

Good luck and hope it all works out OK in the end.

You would be very surprised at the size of the PFC fanbase! no kinddin, i live in Gibrlatar and i se emore Pompey shirts than Liverpool, Man u, Chelsea and Arsenal. The fact is that Portsmouth is not the biggest city although on par with the likes of Leeds, Hull etc. However what Pompey do have is a massive military connection, especially the Navy and thats why you see Pompey shirts in the most random parts of the Globe. With a good stadium, some quality player and a plan for the future, Pompey will be a very attracive proposition.

Another thing you can be sure of is that he will not be throwing what little money he has as us He wahts to make moneny at our expence not loose it. If you had a nice little nest egg would you throw it at second rate club ( Remember Im a true fan but not stupid) Im a realist and a club with a small run down Stadium with hardly any players faceing relegation this next seasion is not an attractive buy. It might mean a lot to us but not to anybody else.
