Well Done CelticSuper League Celtic Crusaders by GiannaMichealsvsLisaSparxxx (U13757429) 11 July 2009 After a week of extremely negative press the Crusaders have answered their critics with a fine win over a much improved Salfordian outfit. Well done Celtic and keep plugging away. Rugby League is a special game and I for one are glad the Welsh are part of it. Latest 10 commentsRead members' comments or add your own

dam-buster (U13670849) posted Jul 12, 2009 What is wrong with with a League below SL with Widnes, Cas, Salford and Wakefield in it? It would be a strong League imo and the SL could add another Welsh team and another French team in the future (and maybe a Spanish and Irish team)

bothcodesfan (U14045955) posted Jul 13, 2009 Comments from itsalldarntlane reflect a very regional attitude. If Rugby League is kept solely in its heartland it will wither and die. In the real world every sport including Rugby League must compete for public attachment. You want a game played on a few recreation grounds "up North" on a weekend afternoon and nowhere else carry on with that attitude. The rest of the world will be watching highly professional Soccer, Cricket and a hybrid form of Rugby, then the die hards in RL (and RU) can marginalise their sports and nurse their shoulder chips standing on the touchline on a wet winter afternoon. Enjoy. Comment on this article |
