Posh17 (U13886979) posted Jul 11, 2009 The news of whelpdale is a blow, although as the post above says we have plenty of other options. I disagree though that he isnt first choice based on his performances last season i think he deserves a starting place.

TheNewNealeFenn (U12475422) posted Jul 11, 2009 We don't have that many options to cover Whelps' injury. It means we will have to play some-one out of position as I can't see Torres or Batt starting. I'm sure we'll cope but we arn't too strong down the right side.

PWA1965 (U12560699) posted Jul 12, 2009 Many said the same last season MP, but we did better than ok. The main reason that I'm still being optimistic is the fact this squad never knows when it's beaten. As long as we maintain that mentality, we'll do reasonably well.

phantomposh (U14069524) posted Jul 14, 2009 Fergie keeps insisting that we have other options up front, but he is saying players like Batt is an option!! Batt, imo, is not even League Two standard player. Comment on this article |
