Farewell Jermaine, your talent and goalscoring record will be greatly missed in England, how you never got an England call-up, no one will ever know.

Fantastic move, I will be watching with great interest. He might have had his problems but it takes guts to come and play abroad. Fair play to him I hope it goes well.

He isn't dead! There is still time for an England call up! Good to see a British player try their hand abroad.

I rate him, he never had hardly any bad games when given the chance, and played very well in Europe so he should settle well.

Agreed! Not quite sure why everyone is getting on his back. Not sure why people have been going on about his 'disciplinary problems either', I can't think of one since he joined us!

I wish him all the best in Spain!

good riddance to bad rubbish. probably cost us about 13 million to accomodate him. bar a screamer against chelsea he was poor. proper poor. hopefully johnson wont be the same mistake.

i am a happy man now he has gone.

Brief glimpses of.... er....... I don't really know what. I suppose he was fairly quick but his crossing and passing were generally rubbish and I, for one Liverpool fan, am glad to see him go. No offence, Jermaine; you promised a hell of a lot but we saw virtually nothing of it at Liverpool. If he thinks differently, then he is deluding himself.

Next to Joey Barton and Lee Bowyer, he's an angel
yet he gets lumped in with them
