Live - Ashes first Test, day two

comment on the article

It's day two of the first Ashes Test in Cardiff after a captivating start to this most eagerly-anticipated of series.

Can Australia finish England's innings off, or can the hosts sneak up towards 400? And what of the Aussies when it's their turn to bat?

It's another huge day, and Dirsy will be your genial guide of all things Ashes related.

Obviously the Aussies are really pleased Harmison isn't playing. Talk about the selectors and management making a gaff! Broad just doesn't cut it - and never really has, yesterday we were crying out for Harmison to have a go at Hughes. Yes, Harmison blows hot and cold - but at the moment he is hot - so what do the selectors do?...they do Australia a favour and leave him out, teach him a lesson and at the same time shot England in the foot, well done!
