Burnley back for Driver

Scottish Premier Heart of Midlothian
comment on the article

Seems like Mr Coyle wont take no for an answer..!

If Burnley put £4m on the table it will be cheerio Andy.

Not a bad bit of business really.

Hopefully Csaba has his eagle eyes on a replacement...dont anyone dare say Obua.

I hope he stays like but if the cash is right he'll be away.

I think you need to be realistic chaps. You, like us, are heavily in debt and are in no position to haggle over such sums.

I would be delighted for you if you got £4m for him but sad to see another decent young player leave the SPL.

As I said, £2m - £2.5m is more realistic and, unless there's another bidder, that's what you're most likely to get for him.

If he goes I wouldnt mind seeing shotgun move into left Mid.

I suspect he will go for around 3 mil. Money we simply cannot refuse.

Well we have Temps, Novikovas, Obua, Kingston and Suso who can all play on the wing, so we'd have enough cover.

I think DrJ could be right, I could see us accepting £3m up front with maybe a few clauses thrown in that may take the total to £4m.

As much as I like Driver, that sort of deal would be a stunning piece of business for us.

Driver is contracted until August 2011 (two more FULL seasons). There is no need for Hearts to accept a lower offer for fear of losing him on a free transfer, even at the end of next season.

If he leaves, it will be for 4m+. Who knows, he might stay another year and leave for a larger fee next summer.

I'll put money on it now. Burnley WONT pay 4m for him, think we might go to £3m or 3.5m at the tops and you'll either sell or you wont.If Herts stick to their guns then he'll be playing for you next season
