TeaTimeAtHarrods (U9112991) posted Jul 5, 2009 why do always host the finals of any of these major tournaments in Barbados? The island has lost all interest in the sport and the only people you get at the games (in all the Caribbean) are red sunburnt tourists. everyone seems to be keen to deny this fact but why on earth keep trying to interest a public that only want american sports. perhaps this is last refuge of colonial broadcasting.

dualtamac (U5946331) posted Jul 6, 2009 I dunno how fair the draw is to Ireland. They will probably be the No. 1 qualifier and they get to play South Africa and India, whereas the second qualifier gets to play England and the Windies, who are much more beatable for the associate nations.......

It was a proud day for us as well as for cricket itself. Comment on this article |
