hi, birmingham fan here

i don't know if any of you have heard but supposedly birmingham have enquired about the possibility of securing joey barton on a season long loan. i would like you to please post your comments on him on how he has done for you. he has stirred up debates about whether we should secure him for the year.

i think he would improve our midfield imo, but i just feel him as a person lets himself down.

so, please would you post your thoughts on him. things such as did he put effort in games, as i expect blues to be in a relegation dogfight. would he create tension in the dressing room?

thanks in advance.

Regardless of his talent, I don't think he should be allowed to play football anymore, at least for a Football League team.
He gets into trouble off the field, on the field, he's assaulted teammates, been in jail...I think Shearer had the right idea when he said he'd never play for Newcastle again.
Barton keeps getting another chance, and he keeps screwing it up. At some point, someone needs to step in and say "No more. You've had your chances and you haven't changed."
He's a liability to any team that takes him, and he doesn't deserve to play with true professionals.

Barton is a top player, will massively improve any bottom premier league team. As for his attitude, if he played for Liverpool or Manchester United, he would be described as passionate. But being an easy target for proles who regurgitate whatever they read in the papers.

".....being an easy target for proles who regurgitate whatever they read in the papers......"

Yeah, they're what's known in the real world as facts doh

(p.s. Please remember that only thick people trying to sound intelligent use the word 'prole.')

Fact Jack

I don't need worthless dimwits like Barton to make me feel good, I wouldn't care if he didn't exist. He's a convicted thug who hits defenceless people on the ground.......there's no talking your way out of that, it's a fact.

You know.....like in your name doh

Just a fact for any future athletes, if you are rubbish, don't do crimes. If you are a good, karate chop some fans and get a deal with Nike.
