Away record: W:11 D:4 L:4 PTS: 37/57
Overall record: W:27 D:7 L:4 PTS:88

  • How do you think our Premier League results will pan out this season?
  • Will our overall record be enough to win us the title?

Agree with most of it but:

a) If Stoke beat us I will eat my own face.
b) Surely we will beat somebody in the top four.

We shall have to see. Remember, these are only my predictions. What we should be looking at is the points tally. Is 88 points enough to win the title?

Reasonable prediction overall.

We are likely to lose more games this season, as to only lose 2 was a magnificent effort last term.

We are also likely to have a worse record against the big 4, as winning 4 and drawing 2 last season was brilliant too.

As long as we improve against the weaker teams, which I am sure is what everyone at the club will be aiming for, 88 points is realistic, and it will certainly be close to the title, a few points either way.

If we can do the double over the Salfords and pick up more points against the lesser teams than we did last season(especially at home as 7 draws was far too many),then we have a great chance, but we must sign back-up for Torres.

Looks about realistic than most do.

Top 4 results will be a bit different though.

Everything went Pools way last year! the refs, playing against 10 men nearly every week and the other big 3 having poor seasons.
So i cant see it happening again.
United wont be that bad this year.

Man Utd got more points last season than they ever have under Fergie, so how you think they won't be as 'bad' as they were last season is beyond me, thetunnel.

It just shows your ignorance.

Much more likely is that they won't be as good as last season.

United have lost Ronaldo, and brought in washed-up Owen, and Valencia (who is NOT that good before you start, which other big club had shown huge interest in him?) None.

RKW, Owen played for you before laugh so you don't think he is a good sighning.

Gess what, you think that Owen will come back to Liverpool you have got another thing coming.

Valencia he won't score 40 (laugh if he does for the United)but he is a good 16m not to waste but he can score some crakers!yikes

The Liverpool team won't handle him. He's just too much for you eh.

Once Liverpool play Man.United they won't handle the pressure of Owen.

GLORY GLORY MAN.UNITED GLORY GLORY MAN.UNITED GLORY GLORY MAN.UNITED OH THE 18 TITLES NOT TO THROW AWAY!

No I don't think Owen will come back to Liverpool. He should never have left, he made the biggest mistake of his career leaving us.

Valencia is just too much for us!? laugh

We handled the best player in the world (Ronaldo) at OT, and won comfortably 4-1. smiley So I think we might just be able to handle a Newcastle reject.

And answer what? You didn't ask me any questions... ermdoh
