Hull Fc have signed australien prop forward Mark O Meley on a three year deal which will begin in 2010. This means two of Hull Fc's current prop forwards will be heading out of the KC Stadium, as cusack has signed a new deal. From Dowes, Moa, King, Maloney and Thackray. Personally I think King and Moa should leave. Who do you think should leave. Also, who would you like to see us sign.

I'm well chuffed with this signing, I said on 606 a few months ago he is exactly what we need.

My concern about how effective Sean Long can be for us has been eased today, with O'Meley, Cusack, Lauaki, Dowes and Maloney, I would release King and Jamie Thakaray.

As for Moa I would keep him on as an impact player.

Our squad is taking shape nicely, if we can now get a high class, experienced centre I think we will go ok, Phil Graham perhaps?

Say no more, get shut of Moa , he hasn't done anything outstanding since he arrived! Impact player? don't make me laugh!

come on chaps, anything would be an improvment on the current shower ... a pack with all the aggression of a granny on morphine ... half backs who would struggle to compete in the national league division two and a back line who are leakier than a sinking ship ...
im gaining in confidence though because some of these signings signal hulls intent - ie build a strong foundation based upon a set of forwards who know how to take the fight to the opposition, take it out of the opposition and importantly how to play rugby and a half back who at 50 will always play better than the current crop ... gaining confidence but we'll need some more fire power in the back line

imo i think its between radford, dowes and king who should be shown the door nxt season, imo sam moa tonite has shown he does have the goods to worry defensive lines, thackray has been a hit just his ball carry a bit dodgy a times, but its the same story again next season next season its gonna happen ! Will it be ? Please please let it be, C,mon u ULL

why sign so many forwards?! thats not the area that is making us so poor - just kick radford out and we'd be fine!! get a full back before setting about destroying the forwards with old aussies

I agree. So long as he isn't too expensive I'd keep Moa who's only 22 and let Thacks and Kingy go even though I've been a big fan of Paul King he has never fulfilled his potential IMO (we all know why) and for that reason it's time for him to move on. Thacks also has not made the impact he promised in the close season with his new 'lifesyle' and 'attitude'. Got to go! I'd probably move Radders on too if I'm honest. Where is he going to play next year in Hull's pack? No place for him IMO!
