This kid is a cert for greatness.

All you people saying shudda played for U21, he is already playing at U19, can't embarass them further by playing two age gaps higher now can he?

He will replace Cesc in 2 or 3 seasons time as long as he continues progressing at the same rate.

On another subject I was channel hopping and they are showing the 4-4 draw with the sc** up the road.

Why ?

I hope he does well as a I recall a lot of young players at Arsenal get that Brady likness thrown at them.

Hughes is still playing he was at Walsall but might be non-league.

Did anyone say Hughes was the new Brady ?

There was talk of a Chelsea purchase for 10m when he was in and out of the team when AW arrived.

Often the talk is of English players driven out by the foreign manager etc etc but apart from Cole what Enlgish player has gone on to do anything ?

Pennant , Jeffers ? Both had real attitude problems . Pennant turned up late for traiing stinking of booze and just shrugged his shoulders when quizzed by the manager.

Oh the rant , he still annoys me.

I don't recall anyone likening Hughes to Brady but I do recall Wenger saying he will be England's left sided player for years to come.

Wilshere is a very creative midfielder a member of the Arsenal youth team along with Watt, Emmanuel-Thomas, Coquelin, Sunu and co that won the FA youth cup.

If he can live up to his potential he will be a long term replacement or substitute for Fabregas, Arshavin or Rosicky

He was great in the League Cup last season and it's good to see him and Ramsey both signed up. All we need now is 2 central defenders and a striker. Anyone else noticed Gallas getting in a strop again in French papers? Get rid of him. We need team unity.

Apart from long range passing and tackling he has it all, intelligent, creative, imaginative, short passing, dribbling with close control, ball manipulation in tight areas, composure, fantastic 1st touch and determined.
