A very open..Open

I'm really looking forward to this years Open, not least, because its probably going to be anyone's guess who will come out on top.

I guess the usual suspects will be favorites with the bookies, but on pure golfing terms, it could be anyone. I think after what happened in the US Open and the Masters its now not, Tiger and few select others. I would love someone like Luke Donald or Oliver Wilson to come through. The other golfers on tour have raised their game and now don't fear the so called bigger names anymore, hope its a classic, whoever wins.

If Turnberry suffers from a typicalFirth of Clyde rainy day(s) I think that may hinder Eldrick.

Ben Curtis is my choice.

If the weather is as good as it is now come Open week the we could be in for another Duel in the Sun!

I like the look of Ben Curtis too Straeh. Three top 10 finishes in his last 5 appearances and of course his record at the Open is very impressive - one win and a further two top 10s.

If what I heard is right, that the rough for the Open is thick and there will be bad weather, a European player would be favoured, I think Poulter could be the man, he has a major in him. Sergio also loves the links, he could do it.
