England u21sPremier League Liverpool by elbobo1st (U13742200) 29 June 2009 despite getting slaughtered in the final i think its fair to say they have done very well to get this far. They should be proud of themselves for the achievement. considering the suspensions of hart, cambell and gabby, you would expect them to loss, didnt see the match but if we had those three how do you reckon we would have done Latest 10 commentsRead members' comments or add your own

CHESMICK (U13918078) posted Jun 30, 2009 Comparing the English 5 0 against Germany with last nights match you are having a laugh. Germany played them off the park. The Pri Madonnas no doubt will get World cup winners medals in 2014 when England again according to teh press will be favourites. Luvin it

Thanks A lot BBC7 (U2212240) posted Jun 30, 2009 England did not have bad players on the pitch last night. The tactics were wrong from the start, and the individual strengths of players were not used to their maximum. England could have won this game with Joe Hart and maybe, with Campbell upfront.

giltedged (U3553270) posted Jun 30, 2009 "Walcott was awful again tonight" I've often wondered what the fuss was all about. England's Swedish coach had chosen him, probably to distract attention from his own and his team's weaknesses.

LincsKopite (U13956484) posted Jul 2, 2009 Once again England fluff up when the chips are down. Goalie suspended at the wrong time against Sweden; his deputy Loach making an error for the second goal; other players like Agbonlahor suspended also at the wrong time; the tactics not being perfect. We shouldn't get down though; this is a learning curve that will benefit these players. Experience of a final is also very important in the development of young players. Overall, I think they should be proud, despite Pearce's lofty personal aim of winning the tournament.

MulvanyStrasse (U1803474) posted Jul 3, 2009 Germany knew exactly what they were doing, England were making it up as they went along. It was funny to see Pearse shouting at Boenisch after he made a "psycho" challenge. So much for the hyped premier league, way more young, homegrown talent in the Bundesliga. Comment on this article |
